5.3 Engine Oil Level

Inspection

Do not start the engine if the engine oil level is below the “L” (Low) mark or above the “H” (High) mark. Wait at least 5 minutes after shutting down the engine before checking the engine oil. This allows the oil to drain back into the oil pan.

Note: When checking the engine oil, the engine must be on a level surface to ensure accurate measurement results.
